- A 10th Dublin Kilternan neckerchief cost €5
- A woggle cost € 1.50
- A Scout Shirt cost €25
- Hard wearing navy Trousers cost €30 (these do not need to be official scout trousers).
- A Scout Belt(Optional) cost €20 .
- A copy of The Scouting Trail cost €20
- A Silva style Compass
- A copy of OS Map 56
- A pair of hiking boots
- A waterproof rain coat
- A pair of waterproof trousers
- A rucksack
- A good quality outdoor all season sleeping bag. This is a good example
- A sleeping mat
- A head torch
